Tahoe 26.6.2 breaks OAuth Yahoo email setup in Mail.app

Since updating to 26.6.2 I am unable to add any sbcglobal.net email accounts to Mail.app. Well actually I can add them. I get sent through the safari webview based authentication workflow with ATT and the account shows up in the Mail.app inbox list. But Connection Doctor shows red dots, the inbox never populates, and sending doesn't work.

Is there away to fix this?

For an @sbcglobal.net address, Apple says to add the account using Yahoo as the provider, even though the address itself is from AT&T. That’s important because it determines the OAuth authentication flow.

Since the Yahoo sign-in completes but both incoming and outgoing connections immediately fail afterward, I wouldn’t keep deleting and re-adding the accounts. If they worked before 26.6.2 and multiple sbcglobal accounts now fail the same way, that’s worth reporting to Apple as a possible Mail/Internet Accounts issue.

I’d also confirm the same account can still send and receive through AT&T/Yahoo webmail. If it can, that helps narrow this down to the Mac rather than the account itself.
