WhatsApp Business crashes on iPhone when linking to PC

Issue with WhatsApp Business Link to PC

iPhone: 16 Plus

WhatsApp Business

Attempt: Link to PC on Chrome/Edge/WhatsApp App

Hello,

all of sudden from four days ago I am unable to Link to Device [From iPhone to Windows PC (web.whatsapp.com on Chrome/Edge or even on WhatsApp App]

Observation: Once I scan QR code, a black progress bar shows reaching end but stays there, while the app on iPhone crashes to close. On iPhone WhatsApp Business in Linked devices it shows my PC/Browser but there is actually no progress beyond Black bar doe some time then again QR code page comes.

This happens with all other PC's/Mac/iPad I attempted to use with same Linking process. Which indicate its related to iPhone and not PC/Mac/iPad issue.

I tried complete removal of WhatsApp, Restarting iPhone, Hard restart, off loading App reducing chat size, almost everything that can be done.

Please help me understand and resolve this issue.

There have been many reports of issues with WhatsApp Business here on the forums. But Apple doesn't own WhatsApp (Meta does) and Meta has some of the buggiest apps out there. You'll need to resolve your issue with WhatsApp support as this isn't an Apple issue.

also if it was me then I would verify if the behavior is the same with their non business app, and provide them with that info in terms of they being able to reproduce the issue that you experience with their app(s)
