Unable to use iPhone Mirroring

Hi all. When launching iPhone Mirroring I get the "Unlock Your iPhone" message, when I unlock the iPhone I get the "iPhone In Use" lock your iPhone to continue message, fully circular. Does anyone know a fix for this please

To fix the infinite loop between the "Unlock your iPhone" and "iPhone in use" messages, lock your iPhone screen physically after unlocking it once, and let the Mac take over.

  • Unlock and re-lock: Unlock your iPhone when prompted, then press the side button to lock the screen again immediately while keeping the iPhone Mirroring app open on your Mac. 
  • Quit and reopen: Quit the iPhone Mirroring app on your Mac completely, then open it again.
  • Restart devices: Restart both your Mac and your iPhone to clear temporary connection bugs. 
  • Reset access: Open iPhone Mirroring on your Mac, go to Settings from the menu bar, choose Revoke Access (or Reset iPhone Access), and set up the connection again. 
  • Check iCloud and Bluetooth: Sign out of your Apple Account on both devices if the loop persists, restart, and sign back in.
