Perspective view in Project not showing complete scene

The Perspective view in my Project doesn't work the way other tutorials that I have watched. Here is a screen grab of two viewer windows to show what I mean.

Other demos and tutorials show the complete scene (drop zones, camera, etc)

Your best friend for maneuvering around the Perspective View is the three controls at the top right corner of the Canvas. The one on the far right controls the Z-space orientation: clicking and dragging upwards will send everything "out" into view, even items that are beyond the "Far Plane" of the Active Camera and Camera views. Pressing the Shift Key before you click on the control will "amplify" the movement behavior as you drag the mouse.

Using Perspective View will not move the camera in space. If Active Camera or Camera is selected, using these controls **will** change the camera's orientation in space!

You can always double click any of the three controls to reset the perspective view or Camera orientation to 0,0,0 and no rotation.

You also have these menu options at the bottom of the Camera menu (top left corner of the canvas):

For Frame Object and Focus on Object, you must select the corresponding layer or layers in the Layers list. These can be used in conjunction with the 3 camera controllers - just remember to select where you want the movement focus to be... it takes a bit of practice to make it all "flow" for you.

When you click on Perspective, you're moving outside of your project, and the cameras you placed will not be used. Two different tools.

  • Perspective View — Displays the scene from a fixed viewpoint, helping users visualize spatial relationships without the constraints of a specific camera.
  • Camera View — Shows the scene from the perspective of a selected camera, allowing for specific framing and adjustments.
  • Animation Flexibility — Camera views can be animated to create dynamic movements, while perspective views are static.
  • Exporting — To export a project from a specific angle, a scene camera must be used, which is not necessary in perspective view.

Yes, the perspective view. What about it? You're seeing it. You can move around in it. You're just not at the angle and distance you want. Move the perspective to where you want it.

Aside from that, I'm not sure what your question is at this point. Simple move the perspective view that you're using. It acts just like a normal camera.

That is exactly what I want. I want to be able to view my entire project with all the spatial relationships. But, that is not what I am getting. I am only seeing perspective from the camera (only have one.) So, what setting do I need to change? And it can’t just be selecting “Perspective” in the drop down menu because that does not work.
