Get Siri to only use "Tee Time" and not "teatime"

When I ask Siri when my "Tee Time" is tomorrow. She replies there are no events called "teatime". I would have thought Siri would understand *context* and would report either.

I can't ever remember ever using the word "teatime" so having Siri always assume "Tee Time" would be much more appropriate for me. Because now it is useless and I golf 2-4 times a week.

Can this be done?

PS. Ya I have searched and links to documents about training Siri with my voice are broken.

Out of curiosity, does speaking “Golf Tee Time” consistently produce the desired outcome ?

I had the exact same idea. And for what it’s worth it did work for me so long as I titled the event Golf Tee Time. Reading back through this thread I see that OP can’t make that edit.

I also tried creating a contact named Tee Time. Since Siri likes to substitute contact list homonyms. I was able to get Siri to transcribe Tee Time in every scenario I tried except when I asked about the time of an event Tee Time. in that one scenario it consistently reverted to ‘teatime’.

OP - I’m out of ideas. How many people at your club use iPhones? More than half, i bet. Maybe the event creator could just start using Teatime?

Based on this behavior, Siri is useless for querying. If she ever returns a negative result (in anything) I will feel the need to verify to make sure there aren't other word combos that are throwing her off. :( The trust is important and this breaks it!

As a last resort you might wait until the release of macOS 27 and iOS 27 which Apple states will include a completely overhauled Siri and Apple Intelligence. Personally I can easily see the confusion of the term in two completely different contexts.

I tried that and she still didn’t understand correctly. My calendar is populated by the email that my club sends, so I don’t have control over the title of the event.
