Apple Watch found after paying for a replacement through AppleCare

My Apple Watch series 10 came up missing. Paid to have it replaced through AppleCare later to find my original Apple Watch. It says that this device has been reported lost or stolen. How do I get that taken off so I can activate my old Apple Watch? It is no longer in my “find my” app.

So even though I paid more for the replacement watch than the original. The original is not mine once found. Claim was probably over a year ago. I remember right I paid $160 for a replacement watch

Something about this doesn't seem to read right. You paid less than $160 for the original Apple Watch when new?

You should review this carefully:

If your Apple Watch is lost or stolen - Apple Support

It explains what you should do if your lost watch is found and what to do if it does not appear in Find My.

If you are still having difficulty with this, you should contact Apple Support and explain everything to them. Alternatively, you can take both watches to an Apple Store and speak with Apple directly there.
