Can Anyone Else Reproduce This? — Apple Gift Card Balance Checker Broken

I’m trying to report an ongoing issue with Apple’s gift card balance checker:

The page lets me sign in and enter the gift card PIN, but when I click “Check Balance,” nothing happens. If I click it again, I’m taken to a 404 page that says, “The page you’re looking for can’t be found.” This has been happening for a while and across many devices/networks.

I have already submitted feedback through Apple’s website and called Apple Support, and have found no resolution. Additionally, a Reddit user recently reported the same issue a few months ago.

At this point, there does not appear to be a working way to check the balance of an Apple gift card without redeeming it to your account. I don't want to redeem the gift card to my account. I just want to check the balance.

Can anyone else reproduce this issue? Also, does anyone know how I can get this reported to the appropriate Apple technical or website team so it can actually be investigated and fixed?

To check the balance on an Apple Gift Card, visit the official Apple Gift Card balance page: ▶︎ Check your gift card balance.

Sign in with your Apple Account and enter the card details to see the balance.

If you find any discrepancies, contact Apple Support directly.

Additional Troubleshooting Steps:

Disable any VPN connections and restart your iPhone or tell Siri: "Restart".
Learn how to update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS.
Learn what to do if your iPhone won’t update.

As mentioned in my post, I have used the official link, contacted support via phone and chat, and submitted website feedback.

Any VPNs are turned off and my devices are updated.

I've tried to get this page to work on my home wifi network and my phone cellular network. I have also tried on an iPhone 13 PM, a Google Pixel 7, a Macbook Air 3, and a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+.

Additionally, I have tried on different days and times, and with different gift card PINs.

Is there anything else that I can do? Have you been able to check a gift card balance?

Redeem it to your account.

Until this is accomplished any value on the card is subject to complete forfeiture by physical loss or damage to the card, theft, or compromise of the redemption code.
