What happens to Election Day on my calendar?
Why is “Election Day” missing from my calendar yet the US-Holidays has ‘“April Fool’s Day”, “Earth-Day”, “Halloween” and many more “non-holidays” and it’s been there in the past?

I noticed Election Day 2026 as well as 2027 are omitted from the US Holidays calendar. Election Day 2025 is there as Phlac noted. Election Day 2028 is also present. I have reported this to Apple.
That's interesting. I just looked at the US Holiday calendar through iCloud and yes, it's not listed this year, but it was last year. I'm looking at the day after the first Monday in November. Probably the same reason that the Gulf of Mexico is listed as the Gulf of America and Lake Ontario is suddenly Lake America?
And you stated it correctly. Many immediately say “1st Tuesday” when it’s the “1st Tuesday after 1st Monday” (thus never November 1st). Renaming the Gulf, a Great lake, perhaps somone foresees we won’t have elections anymore and didn’t wait for executive order.
Nice catch.
As you are aware, we here are fellow Apple users who can’t address any “why” questions re: Apple’s product decisions.
Certainly an “Interesting” observation nonetheless.
