Unable to log in to iTunes on my laptop despite being logged in on my iPhone

I have been trying for around 8 hours now to login to my Itunes. On my iphone I am logged in and can purchase tracks but when I try to access these purchases through itunes on my laptop it won't let me log in. I type my login and it keeps going back to the login again and again. I can access and login to other apple websites but not itunes (even through the browser instead of the app - any ideas on how to fix this? I would say this has been happening for about 2 months now. Thanks

Since your Apple Account works on the iPhone and on Apple’s websites, I wouldn’t keep changing the password.

On Windows 10, I’d try the current Apple Music app from the Microsoft Store instead of relying on iTunes for purchased music. Apple now uses Apple Music on Windows for your music library and iTunes Store purchases.

After signing in, authorize the PC, then check your purchased music.

Download Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Devices, and iTunes for Windows - Apple Support

If Apple Music also keeps returning to the sign-in screen, that points more to an Apple Account sign-in issue on that PC, and I’d contact Apple Support rather than reinstalling repeatedly.
