Why is ‘Talk to Siri’ greyed out
I can’t turn on Siri. In Apple Intelligence it is greyed out and I can’t toggle it on?

I’d check Screen Time restrictions first. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions and see whether Siri or Apple Intelligence features are being restricted.
Also restart the iPhone and check Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri > Talk & Type to Siri again. Apple specifically recommends checking Siri settings and VPN profiles if Siri options aren’t available normally.
If it’s still greyed out, is this a personal iPhone or one managed by an employer or school? A management profile can disable Siri.
