accidently had my phone in swim trunks when i went into my pool for about 2-3 minutes before realizing. Turned phone off then turned back on about an hour later but when screen locked again the phone stayed blank. I know i should have waited longer. Went to start for a replacement under my warrenty now but cant figure out how to turn off the find my iphone from another device. this is a iphone pro 15 pro max

We don't know what you may have already tried, but it may not be possible to turn off Find My when the phone is not operating correctly.
Try the following:
Enter iCloud.com from a browser and then enter your Apple Account and Password
Does the iPhone show up here?
If yes, select the iPhone and choose Erase This Device or go to Remove From Account if the device is shown as Offline.
