Im looking to get Logic Pro on my 2012 Mac mini but it looks like the only way is to download it to a newer machine then come back this old machine then I`ll get and option to download a legacy version - problem is I don't have a new machine to buy the new version ... so how do I get a legacy version of Logic Pro that will work on my old machine ??
Your idea sounds good in theory, but unless you have purchased a previous version of Logic Pro in the past, you will not be offered an earlier version simply by buying the app today on a newer machine. Retroactive access to earlier applications by virtue of buying a current version isn't a thing.
Your 2012 Mac mini wants to retire. It's time to throw a party and let it.
MacOS 10.15 Catalina, the newest OS your mini can run, is done being supported by Apple and just about every app developer around.
