Attack Time resets on reloading project

Whenever I reload a project, the Smart Controls knob for Attack Time on any choir or ensemble instrument resets to 0. This happens in every project, regardless of any settings I have. I am on the most recent version of MacOS and GarageBand, and have an M1 MacBook Air. How can I fix this?
