Facetime and Photo Booth will not work on my Mac Pro M2 in either OS v15 or Tahoe

Facetime and Photo Booth Problems. Neither of these work in OS 15.7.2 on my Mac Pro M2. I downgraded from Tahoe because I thought that was the problem. FaceTime used to work on Tahoe, but my iPhone camera was used instead of the one on my monitor. If I connected my iPhone to my Mac Pro by cable then my monitor camera would work. But no more. Now I believe it may be my hardware. Both apps work on my Mac Pro "Trash Can" with my monitor. I followed directions that others were given in System Settings. I could not even find my Camera. Seems I did find the camera for my printer in Tahoe.

Since the same monitor camera works with your older Mac Pro, I wouldn’t assume the camera hardware has failed yet.

On the 2023 Mac Pro, open FaceTime > Video and see whether the monitor’s camera is listed there. Apple specifically recommends checking that menu when more than one camera is available. If FaceTime isn't working on your Mac - Apple Support

Also check System Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera. If FaceTime and Photo Booth both can’t see the monitor camera, that points more toward macOS not detecting or permitting that camera than a FaceTime problem. If the built-in camera isn’t working on your Mac - Apple Support

What make and model is the monitor? That would help narrow down whether its camera depends on a particular USB/Thunderbolt connection.

First of all, thank you for the reply. I wasn't assuming that the monitor's camera isn't working. I know it is at least on my "Trash Can". Actually, I was thinking the Mac Pro M2 wasn't working with the software. I am using an Apple LED Cinema Display. It used to work on my LED Display. The M2 preferred using my iPhone camera, but the LED Cinema Displays camera used to be switch to when I connected my iPhone by Lightning cable. Now neither works. The monitor's camera isn't listed at all anywhere. I am getting an Apple Pro Display XDR along with a Logitech camera. I'm hoping that will help. There's something wrong when Apple makes it so complicated to connect the display camera to FaceTime and Photo Booth when both apps used to work with the display camera flawlessly. I am seeing a lot of complaints about this on Support Community.
