If you mean you want to temporarily deactivate your Apple Account, Apple provides that option on its Data and Privacy site. Deactivation prevents access to Apple services until you reactivate the account.

Before doing that, I’d make sure anything important in iCloud is backed up or downloaded.

If instead you’re seeing a message that your account has been disabled, that’s a different issue. Apple has separate steps to regain access.
