Download iTunes To A Windows 10 Laptop

is it possible to download a version of iTunes to a W10 laptop that doesn’t interface with Apple Music at all?

I know I’ll be seen as a dinosaur, but I still use iPod Touch and sync it with iTunes on my laptop, but every time I do so play counts get reset, cover art goes missing etc.

Windows, Windows 10

You can still use iTunes on Windows 10, and you don’t need an Apple Music subscription to sync an iPod touch.

I’d stick with iTunes if preserving things like play counts and your existing library setup matters to you. Apple’s newer Windows apps split music and device management between Apple Music and Apple Devices, so they’re not really a simpler “iTunes without Apple Music” replacement.

Before changing anything, I’d also make a backup of your iTunes library since you’re already seeing play counts and artwork change during syncing.
