Phone has been blocked by T Mobile after eSIM was installed by Verizon

SOS on phone. Calls fail.

8 mo old Iphone17. IMEI appears blocked by carrier. Pls advise. Phone has never been lost or stolen

If your phone is carrier-locked, only the carrier to whom the phone is locked can release the lock – if they choose to do so.

If the phone is not carrier-locked, but is displaying SOS, that would suggest that you are out of range of your chosen carrier's network, or there is some problem with your account with them. In that case, you would need to contact the new carrier for help in solving the problem.


If you see SOS, No Service, or Searching on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
