if his balance is zero, can my minor Son use Apple Cash to make purchases?
if he can I totally misunderstood!
I set up the Apple Cash but on his own and without my knowledge or permission he got Apple Pay.
I believed Apple Pay could be used without funding, as it could draw from other sources in my Apple wallet.
Is there no such distinction between the two Apple products? what is the distinction between Apple Cash and Apple Pay?

apple pay tho -- unless he provided false info about age -- at 13 he should not be able to get that account, correct?
I've not been able to connect with an apple rep to sort this out. just keep getting notices of the debt...
Minor correction. Apple Cash is not a checking account or demand deposit account. Apple Cash is a virtual prepaid debit card. There are no traditional banking functions associated with Apple Cash.
