Pages or Numbers document autosave error with local Google Drive

The Document Could Not Be Autosaved - Pages App/Numbers App on local Google Drive

Hi Folks. There has been an issue with Google Drive app, and Pages/Numbers editing files in that google drive (which is local to the mac). The issue is that you'll get an error "The document could not be autosaved". The resolution to that issue is that if you're behind syncing more than 10 days of changes from local to the cloud Google drive, it'll present that error message. I've had this error, tried everything from chmod, xattr, give the app permission to the whole drive, etc. Then I got the message from Google drive app saying that there was no sync for 13 days. I synced. Issue has been RESOLVED. Hope this helps someone.
