How to factory reset my PowerBook G4?
Hello my PowerBook G4 I want to factory reset because the safari is gone and i tunes isnt working its updated but i cant install anything or do anything with it. i dont have the disk.
Model: powerbook G4 12"

There may be a limited chance to restore some sections by logging in as an adminstrator and then creating a new user.
However, under normal circumstances an appropriate (bootable) system CD/DVD is needed. This must be either a model-specific Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar disc (for this computer only) or a later retail Mac OS X 10.3 Panther to Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard CD/DVD (for all Macs).
Model-specific discs (for the exact machine) are difficult to find. Model-specific discs for similar Macs will not work. So, look for appropriate, genuine retail Panther to Leopard discs instead.

Also, do not expect an installed Safari browser (and other applications for this computer) to work with modern, secure web sites.
