How do I stop voice controls from starting automatically on my iPhone?

I've recently had the issue that whenever I try to listen to music through my earbuds voice controls start itself. When I try to click it away, it will start again shortly after. I've checked most things people said as a solution but it still hasn't disappeared. Does anybody have any idea how to make it go away?
