How to fix missing voicemail notifications on iPhone?

I had something similar happen and a few things worked for others in this situation, roughly in order of how likely they are to fix it:

1. Toggle Airplane Mode - turn it on for 15 seconds, then off. This forces the phone to re-sync with the carrier network and often restores the badge.
2. Check notification badges are enabled for Phone/Voicemail — Settings → Notifications → Phone → make sure "Badges" is toggled on.

4. Reset network settings — Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset → Reset Network Settings. This resets Wi-Fi, cellular, and VPN settings (you'll need to re-enter Wi-Fi passwords) and can fix voicemail sync issues tied to carrier provisioning.
5. Update carrier settings — Settings → General → About. If an update is available, a prompt will pop up. This is separate from iOS updates and often gets missed.
6. Restart the phone - sounds too simple, but a full reboot (not just closing apps) clears up a lot of badge/notification glitches after an iOS update.

If none of that works, since you've already been through your carrier, it might be worth trying "Erase All Content and Settings" after a full backup, since a corrupted voicemail cache can sometimes survive lesser resets. But try those steps first. :)
