How do I stop 'We Have Blocked Your Account' calendar invitations on iPad Pro?

This is a scam - not a real Apple message. Your account isn't actually blocked, and it's the fake invite itself messing with your calendar and appointments.

How to fix it:

1. Don't tap the link in the invite.
2. Decline or delete the fake event in your Calendar app.
3. Check for a junk calendar subscription: Settings → Calendar → Accounts, and remove anything you don't recognize.
4. Report it: on iCloud.com → Calendar, right-click the event and report as junk.

Once the spam calendar/invite is gone, your real appointments should stop disappearing too.

If you are using Apple Calendar app…

Remove unrecognized calendar accounts on iPadOS 26:

Settings > Apps > Calendars > Calendar Accounts > [delete all unrecognized]

Finally, a solution that worked!! I followed the link to Hotmail and created a posting titled "How to stop annoying SPAM in Hotmail calendar". An AI generated response was returned that I followed and it worked!

Basically, my issue was specific to my iPhone Hotmail calendar, not Outlook Hotmail calendar. So went to Settings > Apps> Mail> Mail Accounts> Outlook> then turn off Calendar and when prompted to do so, remove Calendar. I reopened Calendar app and searched "Block" to find my annoying SPAMs and confirmed they were gone. I then turned Calendar back on in iPhone (Settings > Apps> Mail> Mail Accounts> Outlook> turn on Calendar). Checked in iPhone calendar again and it remained free of the SPAM.

By toggling off calendar under my Hotmail Calendar in the iPhone calendar app it disappears - so I login to hotmail, find the sender and block plus remove from Outlook calendar. I also checked for subscriptions in Outlook and made sure it was not there.

It now does not show in Outlook/hotmail but still persistently shows on iCalender and as reported, you can’t decline, you can’t delete, there is no other unknown calendar to remove.

There is no way I can see to stop this - why is it getting through if blocked and not present in Hotmail, but toggle off Hotmail calendar and it proves it comes from that source?

Have you checked with Microsoft Hotmail support?

I had the same and I couldn’t get it out until now. You must go te the outlook message that said the same thing. In your spam box.

I cannot refuse the Calendar event, I cannot delete the calendar either. The delete option is not where it is for my other calendars. How do I get rid of this? There are now two of them blocking my calendar.

Yes, as mentioned I have checked subscriptions in Outlook, have the sender blocked, but the issue after this is even though it is removed and no longer showing in my MS cal it has not removed from the iCalender, it will go and come back as I toggle MS calendar on/off. It has not returned yet in MS if I go there and sign in to check.

So to confirm, with Hotmail access enabled, the spam appears, and with Hotmail disabled, the spam disappears?

I have had this issue since September. Regarding “report as junk”, this event does not show up at all when I access my calendar through iCloud. It also doesn’t appear on my phone (iPhone). This is exclusively an issue on my iPad. Can you further help? It blocks out weeks at a time.
