My MacBook storage was full, owing to clutter files, so I put it back to factory version and then restored it. My files and folders on downloads, documents, desktop were all saved on iCloud. But only a fraction of them have been recovered. My Macbook Air 2015, runs on Monterey 12.7.6. Please help

Any files that synced will sync again when you log into iCloud. Otherwise, restore your Mac using your Time Machine (or similar) backup.

Download All of iCloud Drive:
One thought would be to download all of iCloud, and then search through it in Finder on a Mac. You would download it to an external drive, and then open the drive in Finder.
