Google Calendar on iPhone shows meeting times an hour early

I have a weird but very big problem. When I use Google Calendar on my iphone the invite for Zoom meeting shows, for example 10 a.m., but on the calendar it shows that the meeting is at 9 a.m. This is a big problem because I keep missing meetings or planning appointments incorrectly. I have checked the time settings and the phone is set to Pacific Time and the invites are Pacific Time, but my phone calendar shows an hour earlier. The Google Calendar on my desk top shows corrects times. What can I do so that the phone calendar shows correct time?
