Be careful this malware scoppr cleaner as an app

In my opinion any "Cleaner" app is a scam and not worthy of a download and especially those requiring payment/subscription. The same is true for anti-virus apps.

You have to be especially careful when downloading apps outside of the Mac App Store, as is the case in your example. There are many that are nothing more than data harvesters, and some are difficult to remove because they can use an installer to place files in many locations on your computer.

At least with apps in the App Store, you can report them to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com and those found to be fraudulent can be removed with their Developer License revoked, and they are easy to remove simply by dragging the app to the trash.

This application " scoppr cleaner " is akin to CleanMyMac , aka “ BrickMyMac “

Some have referred to CMM as Malware while others referred to as a great way to Brick My Mac

Any Third Party Applications that will interfere with the normal operation of the OS,  is an invitation for disaster. 

Certain Applications maybe available on the Apple Apps Store - this only means the Developer is prepared to pay Apple a percentage on each sale. 

What the Application may do to the computer is up to the User to check this out before purchase
