When I search for Pages in the App Store, it shows the current version, which won't run in macOS 11 Big Sur. Usually in such a case, I click the Download button and it offers to download an older version, but it down't do that for Pages. I see that I've previously downloaded a couple versions of Pages, but neither will run in Big Sur. What is the version that runs in Big Sur, and how can I get it?

The current Pages in the Mac App Store requires macOS Sequoia v15.6 or later, so that is off the table.
If you ever personally installed Pages from the Mac App Store in the past, then you can get Pages v11.1 for Big Sur. If you didn't, or purchased a Mac where Pages was pre-installed by the seller, then you cannot get Pages for Big Sur by any means.
If you did install Pages in the past, launch the Mac App Store, sign-in with the same Apple ID that you used to previously install Pages, and then press cmd+0 (zero) to open the Purchased screen. If you see Pages on that screen, then it will have the means to install Pages. You may receive one or more dialogs, neither of which do you click Cancel. The last dialog will ask if you want the last compatible version of Pages for macOS Big Sur. You know what to do…

UPDATE: As noted, my App Store Purchased list shows two versions of Pages: One shows a familiar looking icon, labeled "Pages 14.5, Dec 30, 2020". The other shows a different, darker colored icon, labeled "Pages Create Documents, Apr 10. 2012". When I clicked the Download button on Pages 14.5, it offered to download an earlier version, which turned out to be v.12.1 apparently for Big Sur. Pages Create Documents just told me I'd have to upgrade to macOS 15.6. Strange. Anyway, problem solved; I'd delete this post but apparently can't.
Just an errata fix: The last compatible version of Pages for Big Sur is v12.1.
Solved is good. I no longer have an installation of Big Sur to further test what is shown in the purchased panel, but am surprised that it would show a newer version of Pages if you had installed Pages prior to Big Sur.
