Validated KORG TRITON Audio Unit plugin not appearing in Logic Pro
Hi, I need help with a third-party Audio Unit plugin in Logic Pro.
I am using a MacBook Air with an M2 chip and macOS Tahoe 26.5.2. The plugin is KORG TRITON, version 1.4.7.
The problem is that TRITON does not appear under Logic Pro → Software Instrument → AU Instruments → KORG, even though Logic Pro's Plug-in Manager detects the plugin and shows it as successfully validated.
I have already spent a lot of time troubleshooting this with KORG support. We have completely uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin, cleared the Audio Unit cache, checked the component's code signature, and performed AU validation.
The current code-signing check says:
“valid on disk” and “satisfies its Designated Requirement.”
KORG also tested the exact TRITON.component file from my Mac on their system, and they were able to load it successfully. However, it still does not appear as an instrument inside Logic Pro on my Mac.
The AU validation also gives PASS, but then reports:
“FATAL ERROR: OpenAComponent: result: -1,0xFFFFFFFF”
All of my other Audio Unit plugins work normally in Logic Pro.
At this point, KORG suspects the issue may be related to Logic Pro or how Logic is loading the Audio Unit.
Could you please help me determine why Logic Pro is detecting the plugin in Plug-in Manager but not making it available under AU Instruments?
