Why isn't my Apple Watch progress chart showing average calories burned?

For some reason, I’m not seeing the progress chart showing my average calories burned on my Apple Watch.

Apple Watch Series 7, watchOS 26

Your Apple Watch might not show an average calorie progress chart because it only displays averages and trends after you have worn and recorded data for at least 14 days.

Why Averages Might Be Missing

  • New Watch or Reset: If your device is new, recently unpaired, or reset, it needs two full weeks of activity data to calculate reliable baseline trends.
  • Insufficient Wear Time: The watch needs consistent daily data from your active Move ring to generate weekly or monthly averages.
  • Where to Look: On your watch, open the Activity app, go to the main rings screen, and tap the graph icon in the top-left corner to view your weekly summary and daily averages. If you use your paired iPhone, you can also check the Fitness app or look at detailed active/resting energy breakdowns in the Health app.
