My maps take up too much space in storage

My iPhone 16e, iOS 26.6 has a big glitch. I never used the Apple Maps so I deleted it but after I deleted it, the Apple Maps took up 50.66 GB in my storage, even though I deleted it. Also I never used the Apple Maps before. Can u pls help me?

To recover that space, you'll need to backup your iPhone, to reset it to factory settings and to restore the backup. This will clear all the cache data, including the caches for the Maps app.
