Why is "apple vision pro setup" downloaded on my iphone.

I've never owned one (never plan on it too), not connected to bluetooth, wont let me delete it from what apple support says to do (Erase Apple Vision Pro - Apple Support (BY) ). How do i actually get rid of this, its taking storage and i just cant get rid of it.

Does anyone actually know how to?

Is this the same issue many are coming across?

Also wanted to add on that even when I press it on storage and press the blue link (includedin image)it leads me to NOTHING!!!!!

It downloaded nothing to your phone. It's a placeholder set up for use with Apple Vision Pro if there is a ever a need for it and is taking up a negligible amount of space. It's pretty irrelevant and it's there for everybody.

It's 0.000029% at worst of your storage space.

And no, like many things in iOS it cannot be disabled or removed. Just ignore it. It's not worth worrying about.

156 GB is not nothing when we pay 9.99 a month for 2TB. I don't like when companies force us to accept paying for a phone that is not ours to control. Data added every update is manipulation. phones are expensive and data monthly subscriptions add up quick. updates to emojis' braille for blind people and most of us can see? apple used to care about privacy and loyal customers and i will always stay with them but disappointed these last 2 years. I am Still loyal to apple but what happened to Apple? the people in charge make money and force decisions to get money from hard working people.

What 156GB of data are you referring to. You replied to a post where the OP was talking about the Vision Pro Setup using 78Kb and yes that is nothing or more specifically like Phil0124 pointed out it is 0.000029% of the storage space.

All phone/tablet platforms support the emojis that are approved by the Unicode Consortium. Apple is not creating emojis to fill your iPhone space. If it weren't for the Unicode Consortium, there would be no compatibility of emojis across platforms. Imagine sending a Thumbs Up emoji on an iPhone and it was received as a Thumbs Down emoji on an Android device. They are not pictures that are sent from one platform to another, it is just code (U+1F44D to be exact for the Thumbs Up emoji) and the device interprets what that code is based on the Unicode standard.
