Touchbar Issue on MacBook Pro 2026-09-06 02:26:53.851 system_profiler[8050:71452] hw.cpufamily: 0xda33d83d

Hello Developers!

I have a bug from System Tahoe: that touchbarServer is not appearing after turning on my MacBook Pro M2 and there is no option for touchbar settings from keyboard settings. But I must restart my MacBook to show up again with my touchbar on the keyboard settings. Please fix that issue in the next upgrade of System Tahoe 26.6.2 to 26.6.3.

I look forward to your answer and feedback.

Thank you

i’m unclear which developers you are referring to here. This is a user-to-user forum. Apple may or may or read postings around here, and only seldom replies.

TouchBar issues might be a third-party app, but more commonly mean the TouchBar hardware or bridgeOS is malfunctioning; bad hardware.

Try starting your Mac in Safe Mode, but this case seems rather like failing hardware. Starting in Safe Mode shuts off most third-party apps, in the off chance that some add-on app is getting tangled. But this is likely headed for a discussion with Apple Support, and potentially a repair.

re: Touchbar

You do not say if this is Intel mac or M-series mac...? As you can imagine they are not the same.

For Intel try both—

resetting the System Management Controller Reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support

resetting NVRAM/PRAM Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

for the SoC M-series —

A SafeBoot Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support will sort many anomalies

Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.

no resolve might suggest a hardware as mentioned above.

In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment

Make an appointment for a "hardware issue"

There have been NO pervasive reports of issues like that reported here.

That suggests you likely have a unique problem.

Your problem could be caused by a defect in your specific sample of the product, or it could be caused by your exact MacOS plus installed modifications, or a previously unseen interaction between the two.

The Developers of MacOS do not participate here. Your queries are answered by other users like you who volunteer their time to help other users.
