How to resolve iPhone Lock to Owner issue after buying from a website?

Hello friends

I want a solution to my problem

I bought an iPhone from a website that said official

But after a while of buying it, I discovered that the sim card was not working and iCloud was not working either. After I updated the phone, I got an iPhone lock to owner message

Is there a solution to this problem or have I been scammed?

Yes, you have been scammed. The phone you purchased was stolen and belongs to someone else. You should report the seller to the website you purchased from. If it were me, I would also report the seller to the local Police. There is no solution to your problem.
