MacBook Pro won’t turn on after restore failure
Hi everyone
I have a 16-inch MacBook Pro with an M4 chip. Suddenly, it developed a restore issue, and no matter what I tried, I could not fix it. I even connected it to another Mac and tried using DFU mode, but I still received an error, specifically error 4042.
The MacBook is still under warranty, as it was purchased less than a year ago.
At first, the Apple logo would appear, followed by this message:
“support.apple.com/mac/restore”
Then the Mac would restart.
Now, it no longer turns on at all.
Could you please advise me on what I can do to get the MacBook working again? I would really appreciate your guidance.
Thank you.
