Problem with accessing spreadsheet in numbers

Question

I have been in and out of a specific spreadsheet daily adding, removing, changing

information - save it with most current date & time denoted and just now had to add

more info - and a little disclaimer on the screen said this spreadsheet is missing an

font?? Then it won't allow me to have access to the spreadsheet. It is like in view

mode? I am not able to save and give it another file name to be able to access another

way. It is like ghosting me?

Any suggestions? Please!

To regain access and edit your locked Apple Numbers spreadsheet, try reverting to a previous working version or duplicating the file outside the app.

Immediate Recovery Steps

1. Open Numbers and go to the top menu bar.
2. Click on File > Revert To > Browse All Versions.
3. Use the arrows on the right to find a version from earlier today or yesterday before the missing font error appeared.
4. Click Restore.

1. Do not try to save or export from inside the locked Numbers window.
2. Locate the file in your Mac's Finder or via iCloud.
3. Right-click (or control-click) the file icon and select Duplicate.
4. Try opening the newly duplicated copy.
