Pages: Standardize headers and footers on 8.5x11 pages

I have a PAGES document and I want to standardize the body of all pages - some have text and graphics, some just text, and some multi-column - how can I ensure all headers and footers appear at the top and the bottom of a 8.5x11 page

By default, the headers and footers are already on with their margins preset in the Documents panel. This is true in a word-processing format document, but the page layout format document has headers and footers disabled by default, and these can be enabled on the Document panel.

The contents of your document body, regardless of document format, has no bearing on header or footer placement if they are enabled.

If you are customizing the document body, then you will need to save each variation as a new template for future My Template selection.

Pages only supports the singular document specified (e.g. US Letter) page size and margin settings throughout the doucument. I have never encountered an exported PDF from any version of Pages over the years, including the current Pages v15.3.1 where there was inconsistency in PDF page size when viewed in Apple's Preview or Adobe's Acrobat Reader.

That said, ensure that you click the center object in the Preview toolbar's Zoom controls when viewing that exported PDF. That will force the document to 100% viewing size. Your sidebar display should be set to single page.

If not the above, please clarify what PDF reader and why you believe there are variable page sizes in that exported PDF.
