Messages app on dual-SIM

I am using a physical SIM and an eSIM on my iPhone. I am unable to see the messages received on one of the SIMs. And I don’t see the 3 dots on the top right corner of the Messages app either . What I see instead is a filter option with the multiple lines as the icon. How can I access message from my SIMs seamlessly
