How to find a previously posted question on Apple Support Community?

My question pertains to this site : I asked a few hours ago a question here about some baffling Airdrop issues.

Someone answered with some directions (weirdly enough, I received no notification, but the tab was not closed in the browser), not really solving my case, and I replied again. Now I can't find back the thread I initiated (obviously I closed the tab in the browser...)

Either it is well hidden, or it got deleted, but I can't see it looking at my profile.

So, how to find it back if it is still there, and if not, could it have been deleted without having me notified ?

Mac mini, macOS 15.7

I believe this is the one you are looking for:

It appears you are no longer subscribed to the post which is why you did not receive the notification and not able to find it under your Subscriptions. When you go to that post, make sure the Bell icon under your question is filled in. That means you are subscribed, and if you just see the outline of the Bell, then you are not subscribed.

The site is a bit hit and miss in terms of tracking user posts. It's easiest to search using Google (or any search engine that has the syntax) as follows......

pierre-henri144 site:discussions.apple.com

If the mods remove or edit one of your posts then you'll get an email notifying you that it's happened, although you won't get a reason.

Yes, this was this account indeed, and of course I did look for my post in there already. So it looks like my previous post got deleted, but it is as mysterious as Airdrop failings for me, as I got no notification about it, and I have no clue why it might have offended anyone.

So if a moderator has the possibility to explain to me what happened to my previous post and why, I would be quite interested.

Not sure how you managed to find it, but yes, it is the one indeed ! And I am still subscribed to it... the bell is filled in and it tells me I am subscribed to it when I put the cursor near the bell.

Yeah that is odd. Maybe try toggling it off and back on again.

That worked, but hadn't you found my first post (no idea how you did, as I did try a search with my id and found nothing) it would have been lost forever I suppose...

At least I'll be able now to scan my first post for new replies, until I am again silently unsubscribed, so thank you !
