Would love to know why apple partnered with Klarna? They support no major credit brands and get this - not even the Apple card. You cannot use the Apple Card to be a part of the Apple Upgrade program to lease an Apple Product. SMH. Any thoughts on why this is or if it will change?

Hi, you can’t combine the two programs and effectively double dip rewards/benefits. This true of many credit card reward programs.
The lease is just that and all leasing is done through Klarna. It’s no different than leasing a car at a dealership or used car lot. I can’t pay a loan or lease with a credit card. Some may allow a debit card, but that’s the exception.
The ACMI program is still in effect and you can purchase items, including iPhones, and pay no interest for up to 24 months. You’ll also earn 3% Daily Cash back using your Apple Card.
Just so you’re clear, Klarna is a lease and ACMI is a purchase. Neither will allow you to use a random credit card to pay your loan or lease. Sorry.

Nobody here speaks for Apple or can answer a "why" question about any choice they make. The only thing you would find is speculations and that is not allowed on this Community Forum, as it is not a Social Media site.
