How do I fix iMessage not sending messages?

Start here:

If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If you are experiencing Activation trouble of iMessage, then refer to this Support Article:

If your communications have been reported as Spam, your use of iMessage may have been blocked. Contact Apple here as it could be a Temporary or Permanent ban. In most cases that have been reported, you would have received an email to your Apple Account email address if that was the case.
