How do I identify which number is being called on a dual eSIM iPhone when the phoning number is not in my contacts?

I have a follow up question related to previous questions about identifying which number is being called on a dual eSIM iPhone. What if the number phoning my number is new and not already in my contacts? How do I know which number is being phoned in that case? Thanks.

That’s actually the simplest situation. If the incoming number isn’t associated with any contact, your iPhone will simply display the phone number because there is no contact name available to show. Once you save that number to your Contacts, future calls from it will display the associated name instead.

I believe they are asking which of their own two numbers is being called.

How do I identify which number is being called on a dual eSIM iPhone when the phoning number is not in my contacts?
