Hello,how does the pre order for iphone 18 pro max work,when will get delivered or can I pick it up from the Apple store?And do I have to order it within 10 minutes after the preorder starts to get it on 18 September or can I buy it from a store on 18 September,thank you!

Delivery date will be given to you when you place the order. There is no guarantee you will get it on the 18th specifically. The 18th is when it starts being available for walk-in purchases at physical stores
You can set up a pickup at store if you want to and it may be there for you on the 18th.
If you try to go to just buy it at a store on the 18th, be prepared otherwise get in line and wait a fairly long time and not get one if supplies sell out before your turn, as has happened in the past.

Apple provides a "Get Ready" feature in the Apple Store app. You can log in right now to select your exact model, color, storage capacity, and preferred payment method, and save it to your profile. When pre-orders go live on Saturday at 2:00 PM, you simply open the app, retrieve your saved setup, and check out with a few taps.

Keep in mind it may be 2:00 PM your time in the world, but to make it easier, Pre Orders open at 5:00 AM Pacific time, which is 8:00 AM Eastern time. For anyone in different time zones, they should set their alarm to coincide with 5 AM Pacific time.
