How can I find out in what country my iphone was made?

The model number won’t tell you where the iPhone was manufactured. Its suffix identifies the sales region, not the assembly country.

Check the original box or packaging label instead. Apple usually lists the assembly location there, such as “Assembled in China” or “Assembled in India.”

If you post the model number from Settings > General > About, I can tell you which market it was made for.

There is no such thing as a directory of every single component in the iPhone on where it is sourced. You will usually know where it was assembled and have the Designed by Apple Computer logo on the box. Along with that the model number indicates the market it is intended to be sold in. That is all you get!

There is not even a single source for the same component, such as the screen. Apple is a global company that many countries contribute to the final product.
