EPSON V600 Perfection Photo scanner won't connect. Deleted from Printers & Scanners and can't add it back!

Since the Tahoe update (current 26.6.2), My 2020 iMac is not connecting to my 2016 Epson V600 Perfection Photo scanner. Suspect it's Tahoe related but really not sure. I tried reinstalling with the original installer cd that came with the scanner but Mac OS tells me the cd is out of date and cannot be used! This was after I downloaded all of the software from Epson Support. Since I do have an older Epson WorkForce 2540 printer which still works fine, I am not sure what the problem is. I ended up deleting the V600 from where it did still show under Printers and Scanners and cannot add it back. Can someone please help?

There are Tahoe drivers available for your V600. Driver version 6.7.84 and ICA scanner driver 5.8.23

Download them and run to install your V600. Do not use the old CD.

If for some reason the link doesn't work, go to Epson Perfection V600 Photo > Downloads > Select macOS 26.x (Tahoe) in the dropdown box. You will see all the drivers & utilities there.

Thank you, Martin for your fast response. I thought I had already downloaded those drivers but no worries. Seems to be working now! So it's time to throw the original V600 install CD in the bin, then? :D Kind regards!
