I currently subscribe to Apple Music. I plan to create a slideshow using some of the downloaded music. If for some reason in the future I decide to no longer subscribe, will the slideshow music be no longer playable similar to that in my music library? If so, will that also apply to that music which I transferred to a thumb drive? Thank you for your help.

1. If the DRM doesn't prevent you from putting the music into the slideshow, it'll stay usable.
2. Subscription tracks you've drag-copied or otherwise backed up won't play after the membership ends.

Thank you , Niel. My concern was that the DRM might allow me to drag the music from my Apple Music library into the slideshow app since the slideshow & the library are on my Mac Studio. But if I cancel my subscription in the future the music will not be playable in both my library & the slideshow.
