It could need a lead to connect to your computer. This may be a problem with the printer.
Thanks. I figured it out and everything is working properly again--had to reboot the router, delete printers and add them again, etc. You were actually helpful a long time ago on this issue, as I'm still using 2 Laserwriter 4/600s (with a third in waiting) with AsanteTalk bridges with a stand alone 2002 Pixar iMac (OS Tiger) and a 2006 iMac (OS Snow Leopard) operating as a server for my 2019 iMac (OS Sonoma). I like having things that work stay working....
