No access to Apple Music via app

I cannot access Apple Music through the app on my desktop. The page continually asks me to "Sign in", when I have already done so. Both the mail address, and password are correct. I even had a Tech, from Apple on the phone. The app was uninstalled, then reinstalled a few times, reset and repaired a few times. I was even asked to repeatedly put in the wrong password, so I got locked out for 24 Hrs, and the app would reset. Except it didn't. I still have the same issue.

I can access my music via the web browser, but not through the app. The Tech said that others have had the same problem. Is there any sign of a fix?

Windows, Windows 11 (26200)

I wouldn’t keep reinstalling the app or deliberately entering the wrong password. Locking the Apple Account doesn’t reset the Apple Music app and just creates another problem.

Since Apple Music works normally in your browser, that strongly suggests the account and subscription aren’t the issue. There are also very recent reports of the same sign-in behavior on Windows 11 build 26200, including a report on build 26200.9445 where the web player works but the Windows app won’t retain the sign-in. There isn’t a confirmed fix in that thread yet. (Microsoft Learn¹)

I can’t find an Apple-published fix or advisory for it either. Apple’s current documentation still shows the normal Windows sign-in procedure. (Apple Support²)

For now, I’d use the web player and keep both Apple Music and Windows updated. Given everything you and Apple Support have already tried, I don’t think repeating Repair/Reset/reinstall is likely to accomplish anything until the underlying issue is fixed.
