I updated my iPhone 17 (base model) to iOS 27 this morning at around 9:30 AM (Philippines time). After the update, I checked the new changes and noticed that the Camera app no longer shows the "View Outside the Frame" feature, even though it is still turned on in Settings.
I've tried turning the setting off and on again, but it still doesn't seem to work. Has anyone else experienced this after updating to iOS 27?

“View Outside the Frame” is an iPhone Camera setting that must be enabled from the iOS Settings app—it is not a setting you can turn on or off directly within the Camera app.
This was not an option even on iOS 26. In iOS 26, “View Outside the Frame” was not a setting inside the Camera app. It is located under:
Settings → Camera → View Outside the Frame
To enable it, go to: Settings → Camera → View Outside the Frame → Turn On
Once enabled, the Camera app can show a preview of the area just outside the current camera frame. This can be useful for composing a photograph, as it lets you see what is just beyond the captured area and decide whether you want to reframe the shot.
So, if you cannot find “View Outside the Frame” inside the Camera app, that is normal. The Camera app uses the setting configured under Settings → Camera.

"On supported models, the camera preview displays content outside the frame to show you what can be captured by using another lens in the camera system with a wider field of view. View Outside the Frame is on by default.
To turn off View Outside the Frame, go to Settings > Camera, then turn off View Outside the Frame."

As mentioned in my original post, the setting is already turned on under Settings → Camera → View Outside the Frame. I’ve also tried turning it off and on again, but the Camera app still shows a black area outside the frame.
The issue isn’t that I can’t find or enable the setting, the setting is enabled, but the feature itself isn’t working as expected after the iOS 27 update.
