Updated iPhone 16 to IOS 27 this morning. Now, unable to send text with photos, nor can I enlarge the photo by tapping. Message stating message could not be delivered, appeared. Text message alone can be sent?
Also happened to a 2nd iPhone 16, both phones updated this morning. Both have been shut down and restarted, both using imessage.
Sent email with photo, worked.

Still no go. 2 iPhone 16 plus, updated one after the other. Done everything suggested online, turned iMessage off, shut down phone, restarted, checked cellular data. Can send text messages, text alone. If photo embedded or even if photo alone, system can't send/deliver. I can send photo from iPhone directly to my MacBook, no problem. Looks like a trip to the Apple store. Appears I am not the only one with the problem.
I just tested this, and message w/photo worked with no problem. You should enter this as its own discussion, to ensure that it gets maximum exposure.
Same with me. iPhone 13. Same, tried all the suggested fixes except for deleting messenger app and reinstalling. Can’t afford to loose my text history.
