Magic Mouse stopped working after macOS 27 update

Hi everyone,

I have a MacBook Air M4, and my Magic Mouse was working perfectly before updating to macOS 27. Immediately after the update, it stopped responding.

The strange thing is that:

• The Magic Mouse appears as Connected via Bluetooth.
• My AirPods work normally via Bluetooth.
• A wired mouse works perfectly.
• I tried forgetting and re-pairing the Magic Mouse.
• I restarted the Mac and the mouse several times.
• I also tried connecting the Magic Mouse with a cable.
• Apple Support helped me troubleshoot and eventually recommended reinstalling macOS.
• I reinstalled macOS, but the problem still remains.

The mouse is connected, but it simply does not move the pointer or respond to input.

Has anyone experienced this issue with macOS 27 on an M4 MacBook Air? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
